OFCCP’s Contractor Portal Technical Help Desk Open to Assist Contractors
The Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) thanks federal contractors and subcontractors that have registered and certified their Affirmative Action Program (AAP) compliance through the OFCCP Contractor Portal prior to the June 29, 2023, deadline.
OFCCP will consider a contractor’s registration and/or certification timely if the contractor has a pending request for assistance as of June 29, 2023. The Contractor Portal Technical Help Desk is currently addressing open help desk tickets.
We have not extended the June 29 deadline. Contractors that have not yet registered and certified compliance with their AAP obligations should do so as soon as possible. The OFCCP Contractor Portal Technical Help Desk remains open and available to answer questions about the Portal and provide assistance.
We offer a user guide and frequently asked questions to assist contractors with registering in the Contractor Portal and certifying compliance. For any technical issues, please submit an inquiry to the OFCCP Contractor Portal Technical Help Desk or call 1-800-397-6251, press 1 for English, or 2 for Spanish.

HOW TO PICK THE RIGHT CAPACITOR FOR YOUR MOTOR?
- LOOK AT THE MOTOR TAG/NOMENCLATURE
This can be found on the motor itself or the motor box.
- READ THE CAP SIZE
Each motor and motor box lists the proper cap size the motor needs to run.
- DETERMINE IF YOU WILL USE A DUAL OR SINGLE RUN CAP
Depending on the motor function (blower VS. condenser), and the wiring of your condenser, you can select a single motor run capacitor or a dual motor run capacitor.
